Community E.S., Inc. is looking for applicants with a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. Work experience within the construction industry or with AutoCAD drafting skills will put you at the top of the list. Applicants should be comfortable with office type software. Be prepared to work in group settings. People with the ability to work with others as well as being independently motivated are what we are looking for.
Community E.S., works with private real estate developers and land owners to provide plans and construction staking for their jobs. Most of the projects are residential in nature. However, there are a fair amount of project in the commercial and industrial sectors. We are the first people on-site and the last to leave. Working at Community E.S., Inc. you will see your vision for a project realized first hand. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing your plans brought to life! There are literally hundreds of segments of work that we perform. You will be trained in as many areas as you can learn. We work on Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, Tree Inventories and Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Concept planning for laying out new projects, site plans, Planned Unit Development plans, rezoning, floodplain permitting through FEMA, wetland permitting through EGLE, Engineering plans, Construction staking, earthwork grading balances, asbuilt measurements and plans, franchise utility layout and staking, lighting plans, landscape plans, cost estimates, to name a few.
Applicants need to send in a resume and cover letter in PDF format. This is a test. Applicants who do not follow these simple instructions will not be considered.
Applicants with local ties will be considered above others. Given the Covid-19 restrictions, we do not want people traveling for job interviews. Resume's will be collected and an email will go out to applicants that fit the required parameters to set up a brief phone interview.
