Title: Manager - Med Surg
Location: Atlantis, FL
Schedule: Full-time • Days (No Weekends)
We’re seeking a driven RN Nurse Manager to lead a 32–36 bed Medical-Surgical unit in a busy acute care hospital. This is a leadership role that combines clinical oversight, staff mentorship, and operational management, all while working days with no weekend requirements.
As Nurse Manager, you’ll guide a dedicated team of nurses and collaborate with Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care. You’ll have direct impact on patient outcomes, team development, and the overall success of the Med Surg unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 accountability for nursing services on the Med Surg unit.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise staff to support professional growth and high standards of care.
- Collaborate with CNCs to manage scheduling, staffing, and daily operations.
- Drive patient safety, satisfaction, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with medical staff and administration to improve outcomes and ensure compliance with best practices.
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN license or Compact Licensure (meeting FL requirements).
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- BLS & ACLS required (or obtained within 30 days of start).
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience as a charge nurse, CNC, or Nurse Manager.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Reports to Director of Nursing.
