Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist opportunity is available for professionals with experience in Cardiac Catheterization and additional expertise in Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro modalities. This contract position demands proficiency in at least two of these four specialized modalities, reflecting candidates relevant work history. The role is set within a respected acute care hospital environment, providing a dynamic setting for advanced procedural work.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 18 months experience as a Cath Lab Technologist; 2 years preferred
- Experience in at least two modalities among Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro procedures
- Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) preferred; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) also highly valued
- Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications are required and must be on hand
- Willingness to float within facility scope and to sister hospitals within a 20-mile radius
- Must be nicotine-free as part of a smoke-free facility requirement; negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine testing, mandatory

Responsibilities:
- Assist in complex cardiac and interventional radiology procedures requiring scrub technologist skills
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments during procedures
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Participate in on-call rotations and flexible scheduling to support unit demands
- Prioritize completion of time-sensitive training modules upon assignment confirmation
Schedule/Hours:
- 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 17:30)
- Guaranteed 36-40 hours per week
- Weekend and call requirements discussed on a case-by-case basis
