Summary: This position will be responsible for ensuring the kit line has the necessary parts, tools, and training to perform their duties safely, efficiently and to Metalworks' quality standards.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM with mandatory OT when applicable
Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.
- First point of contact for the kit line to assist with questions or general needs.
- Ensure the kit line has the correct parts for scheduled jobs.
- Responsible for inspecting all kit before removed from the line.
- Responsible for keeping kit part inventory up to date.
- Retrieve and organize parts, pallets, carts, racks etc. in the kitting area as
required. - Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with
safety regulations and ISO protocol. - Examine and inspect components for defects and reports any concerns to supervisors.
- Evaluate and communicate needs for additional equipment/tools for the kitting area
Requirements:
- Position requires standing majority of shift
- Frequently lifting 10-25 lbs. parts, up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Work safely and efficiently to keep up with pace independently
- Excellent attendance
Qualifications:
One year of general manufacturing experience preferred.
