Manufacturing Engineer | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to full-scale production.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and quality standards.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including process development and optimization.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with PLC programming, automation systems, or robotics integration.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with robotics programming or automation integration.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
