Manufacturing Engineer | Delta Township, MI
Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from prototype to full-scale production.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production targets and quality standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including process development and optimization.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Demonstrated understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with PLC programming, automation systems, or robotics integration.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Experience with robotics programming or automation integration.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
