Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in Speech-Language Pathology to serve K-12 students in Fountain, CO. This contract position offers the chance to work with diverse caseloads including self-contained classrooms and resource settings, providing essential support to students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage K-12 caseloads effectively, ensuring individualized support for students
- Conduct and coordinate Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and implementation
- Deliver specialized instruction within self-contained or resource environments
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student growth and development
- Perform all general Special Education teaching duties with professionalism and commitment
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado credentials as a Special Education teacher
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings
- Proficiency in managing IEP processes and compliance
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to student success
- Growth mindset and positive attitude to foster an encouraging learning environment
Location: Fountain, Colorado
