Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Traveling Associate Dentist to become part of our expanding team.   • Enjoy working with children, who represent 70% or more of our patient demographic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver dental services to patients with the support of your team.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity by complying with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and compliance programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Practice Features

  • DentaPro software for efficient practice management.
  • Digital x-ray and Panorex systems.
  • Fiber-optic handpieces for enhanced patient care.
  • Annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and Emergency Management.
  • Team structure: 1 hygienist, 1 hygiene assistant, and 2 dental assistants per provider.
  • Patient demographics: primarily ages 3-21, with up to 30% adult patients depending on location.
  • Office flow: an average of 10-12 operative patients and 20-25 hygiene patients.
  • Insurance mix includes state plans, PPO, and out-of-network payors.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A DDS/DMD degree from a dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  • A current, valid dental license in the states where care will be provided or eligibility for licensure.
  • Required certifications, including CPR and DEA.
  • Nitrous Oxide certification (applicable in LA, MS, DC, TX, MA).
  • A compassionate nature and a strong commitment to providing dental care to both children and adults.
  • A willingness to travel to various offices, including New Orleans-Gentilly, New Orleans-Metairie, New Orleans-Gretna, Baton Rouge, and Hattiesburg/Biloxi, MS.
