Lake George Charter School is seeking a Secondary Assistant Principal / Dean to support our 6–12 program. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a small, collaborative leadership team and help shape systems, instruction, and student experience in a growing secondary program.
This role is focused on strengthening instruction, supporting teachers, and ensuring strong student outcomes through clear systems and consistent expectations. The position includes instructional leadership through classroom walkthroughs, coaching, and classroom management support, as well as ownership of key secondary systems, including MTSS (academic), testing and assessment coordination, 504 and ALP case management, and curriculum implementation support. This role also supports academic programming, including graduation tracking, concurrent enrollment, AP, scheduling, and post-secondary planning. In addition, the Assistant Principal / Dean helps coordinate student activities, athletics logistics, and school events, while partnering with administration on behavior systems and discipline, safety systems, and overall school operations.
This is a hands-on, visible leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to relationships and accountability. Responsibilities will continue to evolve as the role grows within our school.

Job Requirements:
Required:
* Valid teaching license
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in education
* Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families
* Ability to support and implement consistent school-wide systems
Preferred:
* Valid Colorado teaching license
* Colorado administrative license (or willingness to obtain)
* Previous leadership experience (Dean, instructional coach, team lead, or similar role)
* Experience supporting student behavior systems and/or MTSS
* Experience with secondary programming (6–12), including scheduling, graduation requirements, or post-secondary planning
