Moore Digital Print and Mail Center, Tulsa is currently seeking an Art Director to join our Team!
Job Summary: As an Art Director, your responsibilities are to oversee the design and execution of visual projects for advertising, marketing, or a similar purpose. You meet with clients, develop timelines for project completion, build project budgets, and carry out strategic resource planning to meet deadlines efficiently. This is an on-site position.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead in creating and executing innovative concepts that enhance response strategies and achieve client objectives
- Develop and implement creative, technical and conceptual design solutions which will meet client strategic planning objectives
- Work with Directors, Senior Team members and client teams to create appropriate, workable ways to express and enhance the client's communication needs
- Influence direct response best practices to help our clients reach their strategic and targeting goals
- Lead creative development for projects, including digital, print, and experiential.
- Contribute to original designs and concepts.
- Oversee and ensure Brand consistency and quality across marketing production work.
- Ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Remain current with industry best practices and apply them to the development of creativity.
- Art directs new and production-based projects.
- Follows projects throughout all stages of print production and/or online deployment.
- Provides production support to produce technically correct, print-ready mechanicals for release.
- Interacts regularly with clients, creative partners, and other team members as needed for the completion of assigned projects.
- Interprets marketing ideas and turns them into visual reality at a world-class level.
- Solves business challenges through smart creative design.
- Takes ownership, leads initiatives, and successfully executes through all stages of creative development on target, on time, and on budget.
- Current on understanding of emerging trends and technologies and the ability to institute best practices for traditional and digital marketing products
- Produce layouts that achieve the company's and clients' desired results at a reasonable expenditure of time and resources
- Consult with clients regarding user-centric design, copy and messaging issues
- Troubleshoot OS errors, and correct files of multiple formats
- Communicate with the team providing feedback, direction and encouragement
- Understand typography, color theory, corporate identity and branding
- Understand all technical aspects of producing Direct Mail (including postal requirements). Online Display, Email, Social and Digital Experiences a plus
- Consistent and Reliable attendance is mandatory
- All other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate and sell a creative idea with enthusiasm and knowledge
- Ability to see others' point of view and cope with criticism
- Desire to produce award-winning creative for each and every assignment

- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and industry trends
- New ideas, great design sense, copywriting skills (a plus), and the ability to prepare projects for print are essential
- Understanding of print production, basic web development, and good user interface concepts
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective customer and internal relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding to execute the work according to the customers' needs
- Expertise with relevant Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines, producing high-quality work, and projecting a positive attitude
- Strong project management skills, organizational skills, and time-management skills
- Ability to influence, inspire, and lead from any role
- Ability to travel if needed
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or currently working towards a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop - preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Writing and editing skills a plus
- Prior collaboration or personal project management experience a plus
- Well-rounded portfolio of innovative, award-winning work
- Experience presenting/pitching concepts to internal clients and external customers and sourcing vendors preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Required to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time
- Required to grip twist and turn both hands for long periods of time
- Periodically lifting to 50 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background investigation.
