Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Sign Language/ASL Interpreter to join our school district in Waite Park, MN. As a Sign Language/ASL Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing interpretation and translation services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation and translation services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students
Facilitate communication between students and teachers
Adapt interpreting style and vocabulary to suit the needs of individual students
Work full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Elementary School
Start/End Date: ASAP-06/05/2026

Requirements:
Proficiency in PSE, one or more forms of MCE, and ASL at normal conversation speed
Active National SLI Certification

Benefits:
Pay Rate: $24-$30/hr
