Job SummaryWe are seeking a Public Relations & Marketing Assistant to assist with growing the brand and working on maintaining an excellent public face and voice for the company. The goal is for you to develop relationship management skills that you can use with key centers of influence and prospective clients.
Responsibilities

• Answer emails and phone calls, answer questions, and direct larger inquiries to the appropriate personnel
• Assist other staff with media outreach
• Assist with community outreach and engagement across multiple platforms
• Create, edit, and publish content on various social media platforms, as needed
• Maintain calendars appropriately, including an editorial calendar, event calendar, and more
• Participate in meetings and strategy sessions within the department

Qualifications

• Series 65 or Series 7
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent proofreading and copy editing skills
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and social media publishing platforms
• Knowledge of Public Relations best practices
• Passionate about wealth management and financial planning
• Curious and interested in learning and contributing

Compensation depends on experience; preference for candidates with financial services experience
