RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
\n• Level III NICU experience required with 2 years of experience minimum
\n• EPIC charting system experience required
\n• Weekend requirement: Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
\n• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract (two holidays during winter season)
\n• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
\n• Patient ratios: ICU 1:2, Intermediate 1:4
\n• Floating required within skillset
\n• Care for neonates including extreme prematurity (22+ weeks), respiratory distress, congenital anomalies, and various critical conditions
\n• Extensive clinical skills required including IV therapy, respiratory support, medication administration, and specialized neonatal procedures
\n• Experience with advanced equipment: High-Frequency Jet Ventilator, Oscillators, cooling blankets, various infusion pumps, and incubators
\n• Must be comfortable with umbilical catheter management, ventilator care, chest tube management, and therapeutic hypothermia
\n• 60-bed Level 3 NICU organized into 5 pods supporting both ICU and intermediate level care
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Locals within 100 miles not accepted (exceptions may apply for certain distances)
