Join a Thriving Practice: We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to become part of a busy practice with immediate patient volume.

• Comprehensive Care: Engage in a full spectrum of family medicine, including outpatient services in St. Ansgar, inpatient rounding, and emergency care in Osage.
• Collaborative Team: Work alongside a dedicated team of 5 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers across two clinics.
• Patient Demographics: Provide care for patients from newborns to seniors, with optional shared OB care.
• Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy a flexible work week with options for a 4 or 4.5-day schedule.
• On-Site Facilities: Benefit from lab, x-ray, and pharmacy services located within the clinic.
• Specialist Support: Access on-site specialists, including a podiatrist, general surgeon, optometrist, and CRNAs, with additional support from MercyOne North Iowa.
• Hospital Admissions: Admit patients to Mitchell County Regional Health Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital with around 600 annual admissions and an emergency department handling 4,000 visits yearly.
• Available Services: The hospital offers a range of services, including general surgery, pulmonary rehabilitation, speech therapy, physical and occupational therapy, cardiac rehab, and various imaging services.
• Affiliation: This position is affiliated with MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center and regional teaching facility.
• Loan Repayment Opportunities: Eligible for NHSC site, PSLF, and Rural Iowa Primary Care Loan Repayment programs.

Candidate Qualifications

• Certification: Candidates must be board certified or board eligible, with certification required within three years of eligibility.
• Education: Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic school is essential, along with completion of a relevant residency program.
• Licensing: Must possess or be eligible for a physician license in Iowa, as well as an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities and a collaborative spirit are necessary.
• Background Checks: All offers are contingent upon successful reference checks, background verification, pre-employment physicals, and drug screenings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including:

• Bonus Package: A $250,000 signing bonus.
• Income Guarantee: A two-year income guarantee of $301,290.
• Relocation Assistance: A moving allowance of up to $15,000.
• PTO: 34 days of paid time off (PTO) when on base, increasing to 40 days when on production.
• Continuing Medical Education: An annual CME allowance of $6,000.
