Administrative/Finance Assistant – Contract
Location: North Kingstown, RI (Onsite, Monday–Friday)
Start Date: Early November.
We are supporting a leading international marine construction and engineering company in their search for an Administrative/Finance Assistant to join their team in North Kingstown, RI.
This is a W2 contract role starting in early November, requiring full onsite presence (5 days per week). Applicants must be local and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
- Manage invoices (issuance, booking, and payment tracking)
- Support administrative follow-ups with vendors, compliance, and filing
- Arrange travel bookings (hotels, cars, flights)
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and documentation as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic accounting knowledge and familiarity with bookkeeping principles
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail
- Previous administrative or junior accounting experience is an advantage
