Role: OR Tech - Surgical Tech
Salary Range: $1,344.00 - $1,728.00 weekly (base gross), based on a 40-hour workweek (5x8-hour shifts); equivalent to $33.60 – $43.20 per hour.
Assignment Duration: 12 weeks
Available Shifts: Full Time - Variable

Key Responsibilities
Become a vital member of a high-performing surgical tech team. We are looking for an experienced Travel OR Tech for a 12-week assignment in a dynamic perioperative/operating room environment.
- Prepare and organize sterile instruments and supplies for designated surgical procedures.
- Ensure the maintenance of a sterile field throughout each surgical case.
- Assist the surgeon by anticipating needs and providing sterile instruments and supplies during operations.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience is required for new hires as of April 2014.
- Completion of an ORT training program or equivalent on-the-job training with a minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in a surgical setting).
- Experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across general surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, and Plastics).
- Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialized surgical areas (e.g., ortho, neuro, ENT, Urology, etc.).
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as an OR Tech is mandatory.
Compensation Transparency
Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role being $33.60 to $43.20 per hour. This estimate is specific to California and may vary in other locations. The exact starting salary will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
