This role focuses on delivering expert occupational therapy services to patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic issues, and other neurological conditions.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions for neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans
- Compliance with facility vaccination policies and infection control protocols
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored occupational therapy treatment plans
- Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques and assistive technologies to promote functional recovery
- Provide patient, family, and caregiver education to support optimal rehabilitation outcomes
- Document treatment progress and modify plans based on patient response and goals
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and organizational policies, including seasonal influenza vaccination or approved exemption protocols with appropriate masking measures
