Role: Non-Profit Senior Accountant (Contract-Hire)
Pay: $37 - $42/hr; Salary Conversion 95k
Hiring Type: Temp-Perm
Location: Washington D.C.
Office Schedule: 2 days a week
Our client, a reputable non-profit is looking to bring on Senior Accountant to their team on a contract- hire basis. Looking for candidates with below technical skills as well as mission driven!
Requirements
· Bachelors in a business-related field
· Non-Profit Industry experience
· 3+ years Strong month End & Financial Statement prep experience
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting a range of accounting processes including accounts payables, general ledger, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, month end, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the monthly and quarterly close process
· Prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet accounts and various other general ledger accounts, as needed
· Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and internal management reports for leadership and program teams
· Assist in preparing grant-specific financial reports and invoice
