Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $126,500 - $155,000

Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Site Controller to lead all accounting functions at our manufacturing site. This role oversees General Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and financial reporting while partnering closely with Operations, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams. The Site Controller ensures accurate financial reporting, cost efficiency, and strong internal controls, while serving as a strategic financial partner to site leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day accounting operations: General Accounting, AR, AP, Payroll.
- Manage monthly close process and ensure GAAP-compliant financial results.
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses.
- Ensure proper processing of customer billings, cash receipts, vendor payments, and payroll.
- Maintain internal controls and segregation of duties across accounting functions.
- Collaborate with HR for payroll, benefit accruals, and reporting.
- Oversee revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.
- Maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring audit readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, controls, and close efficiency.
- Support ERP optimization and post-merger integration initiatives.
- Mentor and develop accounting staff.
- Collaborate with Cost Accounting to ensure accurate financial statements and margin improvement.
- Provide financial oversight of inventory, cost accounting, and operational performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- CPA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership of accounting teams.
- Manufacturing experience required; aerospace/defense strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- ERP experience required; Visibility ERP a plus.
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in both hands-on and leadership capacities.
