Position Overview
Reporting to Constructive Loans Leadership, the Intern provides administrative and operational support to designated business department(s). The Intern assists with documentation, reporting, and routine operational activities while gaining practical experience in the organization's business operations.
This position is designed to foster learning and professional development through exposure to core business processes, compliance standards, and cross-functional collaboration. The Intern contributes to the accuracy, timeliness, and organization of departmental activities while developing foundational knowledge, technical skills, and essential professional workplace competencies.
Core Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist with tracking and monitoring assigned work items, reports, or accounts, and flag items requiring follow-up or escalation.
- Support the review and processing of requests by gathering required documentation and preparing materials for submission.
- Assist with coordinating transactional or operational requests, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant with internal requirements.
- Compile and support the preparation of recurring reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Support day-to-day operational and servicing activities, including tracking updates, communications, and status changes.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation and records in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Participate in team projects and initiatives focused on improving processes, efficiency, and departmental outcomes.
- Develop domain knowledge of the business to include an understanding of organizational objectives.
- Develop positive working relationships within the team and across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with policies, processes, and practices. Successfully complete all department and company required training.
Qualifications Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program preferred
- Coursework or academic focus in business, finance, operations, accounting, or a related field preferred
- Prior internship, part-time, or administrative experience a plus, but not required
Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a structured environment
- Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and business concepts
- Ability to work independently with guidance, as well as collaboratively within a team
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality, ethics, and company standards
Compensation and Program Details
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Program Duration: June 1 – August 7, 2026
Benefits: This internship is classified as a temporary position and does not include benefits eligibility.
