Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to work full-time during the 2025-2026 school year at a high school in Aurora, CO. This position serves students in moderate to severe special education classrooms and includes case management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to high school students in special education settings
- Manage individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation with accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with school staff to develop effective educational strategies
- Maintain strong organizational skills for paperwork and case management duties
- Work onsite with students, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet their needs
Qualifications:
- Experience working in Colorado special education classrooms is required
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license or application in progress
- Proven ability to manage case files and complete required documentation thoroughly
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration within a school setting
