Job Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in QuickBooks
- Enter and process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and send customer invoices and statements
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and loan accounts
- Track and record company expenses
- Maintain monthly billing records
- Handle customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances
- Assist with payroll data entry and payroll-related records
- Maintain and organize general ledger accounts
- Prepare basic financial reports (income statements, expense summaries)
- Keep track of company licenses, registrations, and renewals
- Monitor and track insurance policies and equipment payments
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and management regarding billing issues
- Maintain organized and accurate financial files and documentation
- Support accountant or CPA with year-end and tax preparation
Skills & Requirements
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Ability to handle confidential financial information
- Strong organization and time-management skills
