Job Summary: The warehouse associates help with tasks around the warehouse.
Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to):
Check in of parcels and freight including:
Hands/eyes on every item
Scanning paperwork to receivers
Quarantine of damaged and discrepancy items for Inventory Control
Removal of all previous shipping labels
Put away of received items
Cross docking of items with tickets to shipping
Repackage/secure back to stock items per direction of inventory control
Move/re-locate items as necessary in inventory system to maintain accuracy
Pick and package orders as requested according to instructions
Re-stocking and re-ordering of supplies for receiving area
Daily emptying of garbage and cardboard. General clean up and sweeping daily.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as necessary assemble orders and load or unload freight
Follow all safety regulations including wearing proper safety equipment
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years previous warehouse experience preferred
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Valid driver's license (Commercial Drivers License Preferred)
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment (i.e. forklift)
- Basic Welding and Mechanical ability
- Good communication, listening, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
- Dependable and Reliable
- Inventory, data entry and computer skills required
- Ability to bend and lift heavy objects (10-25lbs frequently up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
- Demonstrated commitment to Safe Work practices

Occasionally required to sit. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional warehouse environment with outside weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
