THE COOPERATIVE: ARCOP Inc. (arcop.net) is Arby’s (arbys.com) independent, membership-based supply chain cooperative responsible for securing, supplying and distributing a wide range of goods/services for Arby's restaurants. ARCOP has governance oversight from an elected Board of Trustees, representing Arby’s franchise & Inspire corporate locations. ARCOP utilizes combined purchasing power of nearly 3,400 Arby's U.S. restaurants (annual spend over $1.5 billion) for goods/services including distribution management, 3PL program, sourcing and procurement of perishable (food, beverage) products & disposable items. ARCOP also secures competitive contracts for indirect products (FF&E) and services.

POSITION TITLE: Analyst, Supply Chain Operations

STATUS: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Analyst, Supply Chain Operations is responsible for delivering data-driven insights to optimize end-to-end service performance across a franchise-based QSR system. This role focuses on analytics, reporting, and continuous improvement across demand planning, inventory management, freight, distribution, and supply chain technology. The analyst partners with internal stakeholders, franchisees, distributors, and suppliers to improve service levels, reduce cost, and enhance system-wide visibility. This role drives alignment through influence, governance, and data, ensuring that brand initiatives are effectively translated into operational execution across an effectively managed distribution network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analytics & Performance Management

  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards across inventory management, service levels, forecast accuracy, freight cost, and DC performance
  • Utilize ARCOP’s software to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
  • Provide actionable insights to support executive decision-making and field operations

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Support monitoring actual demand vs forecast process
  • Monitor forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias) and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with suppliers and distributors to align supply with demand signals


Inventory Optimization

  • Analyze inventory levels across distribution centers and restaurants to minimize stockouts and excess
  • Recommend safety stock, reorder points, and network balancing strategies
  • Monitor shelf-life constraints, waste, and obsolescence in perishable categories


Freight & Distribution Analytics

  • Support logistics team in evaluating transportation spend and routing efficiency
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement (mode optimization, consolidation, backhauls)
  • Analyze distributor KPIs including fill rates, on-time delivery, and order accuracy


Technology & Data Management

  • Leverage analytics and planning systems, and BI tools to create automated dashboards, reporting, and insights
  • Support implementation and enhancement of supply chain systems and data integration
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and consistency across multiple sources


Cross-Functional & External Collaboration

  • Partner with franchisees, distributors, procurement, finance, and suppliers to align on performance metrics
  • Support distributor business reviews (QBRs) with data insights and reporting
  • Assist in supply disruption analysis and mitigation planning


SUCCESS METRICS:

  • Inventory turns and reduction in waste/obsolescence
  • Service level (fill rate, OTIF) performance
  • Cost per case / cost-to-serve reduction
  • Data quality and reporting timeliness

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Business, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, preferably in foodservice, QSR, or CPG
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel;
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ERP/planning systems
  • Understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and distribution networks
  • Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Achieved Certified Restaurant Supply Chain Professional certification
  • Experience with Palantir – Foundry, SQL, Python, or similar tools preferred
  • Proven experience working within a franchise system with indirect control/influence-based leadership
  • Strong background in demand planning and distributor network management
  • Experience collaborating with national distributors and multi-tier supplier networks
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis) and data analytics tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups
