Job DescriptionSenior Formulation Scientist - Nutraceutical
Location: Mahwah, NJ (Onsite Only)
A hands on formulation role developing powdered beverage products from concept to launch. This is an onsite position within a fast paced, startup style environment offering full product ownership and collaboration across R&D, QC, QA, clinical, and process engineering.
Responsibilities
• Benchtop formulation of powdered beverage products
• Ingredient selection and evaluation (botanicals, functional actives, powders)
• Scale up support, troubleshooting, and process engineering
• Manage multiple projects from concept through commercialization
• Maintain clear documentation and present findings internally and externally
Requirements
• 5+ years of formulation experience
• Strong background in powdered beverage development
• Food Science preferred
• Proven concept to launch product development
• Hands on R&D/product development experience
• Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting
• U.S. Citizen or OPT EAD (no future sponsorship available)
Preferred
• Experience with functional beverage powders in sachets
• Exposure to formulation, ingredient research, QC/QA, clinical studies, cost analysis
Compensation & Schedule
• Salary: $80,000-$120,000
• Full medical/dental/vision (employee)
• 401(k) with 4% match
• 10 PTO days + 6 sick days + Summer Fridays
• $3 daily cafeteria meal
• Onsite only; no relocation provided

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
