Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 48 college semester units, or an Associate’s degree (AA/AS)
- Successful clearance of background checks and fingerprinting
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and students
- A compassionate, patient approach and a strong commitment to putting student needs first
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with classroom teachers to deliver instructional and behavioral support
- Assist with implementing lesson plans and adapting materials as needed
- Foster a safe, respectful, and engaging learning atmosphere for all students
- Support students with varying academic, social, and emotional needs
- Help monitor and track student progress, providing feedback as appropriate
- Encourage positive relationships among students, promoting inclusion and active participation
