• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM), primarily days\n
• Weekend Coverage: Every third weekend\n
• Call Requirement: 10-12 days/month\n
• Holiday Rotation: As needed by department\n

\n\nQualifications / Job Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technician/Surgical Technologist in a hospital operating room\n
• Valid Surgical Technician certification or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (or equivalent)\n
• Neurosurgery experience preferred — experience with neurosurgical cases is a plus\n
• Able to fulfill call, weekend, and holiday rotation requirements\n
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks\n

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for a variety of surgical procedures\n
• Assist surgeons and perioperative nurses during operations, maintaining a sterile field\n
• Efficiently handle surgical instruments, implants, and equipment (including neurosurgical instrumentation when applicable)\n
• Participate in neurosurgery and other specialized procedures as needed\n
• Maintain accurate perioperative records, counts, and adhere strictly to hospital protocols\n
• Provide coverage for call shifts, weekend rotations, and participate in team-based patient care efforts\n
