- Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)\n
- Hours per Week: 36\n
- Unit Floating: Required within ICU, Brain Health, and LTC Ventilator units\n
- Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holiday required\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license (required at submission)\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience (HICU requires 2 years)\n
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications\n
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system\n
- Strong clinical skills in ventilator management, telemetry, and care of complex medical patients\n
- Professional references required\n
- First-time travel nurses welcome\n
- Attendance required for all orientation days (Tuesday–Friday, day shift)\n
- Zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences\n
\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n

- Deliver high-quality patient care in ICU step-down, Brain Health, and Long-Term Care Ventilator units\n
- Monitor and assess patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including ventilator-dependent patients\n
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform advanced wound care\n
- Operate specialty equipment such as G-tubes, PICC lines, chest tubes, high-flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomies\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services\n
- Accurately document patient care and interventions using Cerner\n
- Float between units as needed, within RN scope of practice\n
- Participate in ongoing education and complete required virtual modules\n
