American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a hospital radiology unit near Kenosha, WI, requiring ARRT certification and at least 2 years of experience including chest X-ray, C-arm, and portable imaging skills.

- 60-bed Level 3 Trauma Center hospital located outside of Kenosha, WI
- Radiology unit with 2 diagnostic rooms, 1 fluoroscopy room
- Patient population includes inpatient, outpatient, ED, and some pediatric patients, though primarily adults
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures include chest X-rays, long bone X-rays, C-arm, surgical cases, portable imaging, and limited fluoroscopy
- Equipment includes Canon portables, GE fluoroscopy, OEC C-arms, and Dell/Canon plate diagnostic rooms
- EMR: Epic; PACS: McKesson (preferred experience); Med Dispensing: Pyxis
- Weekend position: Fridays 8:00 AM–8:30 PM and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- Float throughout the hospital for portable imaging, including OR and ED

Requirements\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience, with most recent experience within the last year
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- Wisconsin state license required if applicable
- Proficiency in chest X-rays, long bone X-rays, C-arm, surgical patient imaging, portable imaging, and fluoroscopy
- COVID vaccination required
- 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year
- Candidate DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Candidate's middle name or initial required for consideration

- First-time travelers will be considered with a strong clinical background
- Local candidates are accepted
- Orientation is 2–3 days based on comfort level
- Transport support available 7:00 AM–9:00 PM; RT and hospitalist coverage available 24/7
- Only one X-ray tech and one CT tech on duty after 10:00 PM
- Holiday coverage expected if a holiday falls on a scheduled shift
- Time off requests are subject to manager approval
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Free parking available on-site
- Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for this travel position
