Position Summary:

The Business Support & Data Import Analyst is responsible for providing end-user support for a proprietary SaaS Agency Management System (AMS) that serves a multi-state, multi-branch retail insurance agency network. In this role, the analyst ensures accurate and efficient data transfer from newly acquired branch locations into the SaaS platform. The candidate should have experience in end-user support, a working knowledge of MS SQL, and proficiency in writing and executing SQL scripts and queries. This position requires user support skills as well as technical expertise with MS SQL.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. As an end-user support team member, you will troubleshoot, track, and resolve issues with the SaaS AMS platform.

2. Liaise with Infrastructure, Commissions, Accounting, Operations and other departments as required to resolve issues.

3. Support outside, Legacy AMS (non-SaaS AMS branches) and their user licensing, Evo system configuration, login issues and maintenance.

4. Import new branch data into the SaaS platform using MS SQL and existing tools and import processes.

5. Work directly with newly acquired branch leadership and internal stakeholders to validate the correctness of imported data, troubleshoot and resolve any issues.

6. Liaise with software development to continually improve the MS SQL tools and import processes.

7. Assist software development and business stakeholders with requirement analysis for new capabilities and bug fixes and translate them into Azure Dev Ops product backlog items (PBIs).

8. Participate in daily standup, communicating what has been accomplished, what you are working on and any roadblocks.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

1. Excellent customer service verbal and written communication skills.

2. Experience with a help desk ticketing system.

3. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), working knowledge of databases and writing queries and scripts.

4. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

5. Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

6. Ability to anticipate potential user workflows and software issues and report them to the development team.
