Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our successful clinical spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.
We are looking for deep tissue massage therapists (Certified) with a love of their craft, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Preferably with deep tissue/injury based experience. Full or part time is welcome, here are currently our available hours:
Tuesdays 10am-5:30 pm
Wednesdays 10am - close (usually 7 or 8pm)
Thursdays 10am - close (usually 7 or 8pm)
Fridays 10am - close (usually 7 or 8pm)
Saturdays 9am (or 10am) - close (4pm)
Hours can be somewhat flexible within reason.
All of our staff love what we do and take pride in offering our clients excellent massage therapy - we'd like to bring in another like-minded person to join our team. Some skill sharpening hands-on training available.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
- Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
- Maintain accurate records of each session
- Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
- Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
- Ensure a clean and safe facility
- Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Hold current license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
- Capable of performing deep tissue massage modalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
- High level of ethics and integrity.
