About the Company

At Prestige Healthcare Resources (PHRI), compassion is not just a value—it’s the heartbeat of everything we do. We exist to restore hope, dignity, and healing to individuals and families navigating behavioral health and substance use challenges. Serving more than 1,500 clients across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, PHRI is a rapidly growing organization committed to integrated, person-centered care for underserved communities.

We are builders. We are advocates. And we are creating systems of care that truly change lives. As we continue to grow over the next several years, we are looking for mission-driven professionals who want their work to matter—to clients, to communities, and to the future of behavioral healthcare.

About the Role

Prestige Healthcare Resources is seeking an Eligibility Coordinator to support the Intake & Admissions Department. This role ensures accurate intake, Medicaid eligibility verification, and compliance with DC DBH standards.

The Eligibility Coordinator will also conduct intake data entry directly with consumers, ensuring all information is accurate and complete at the time of intake.

What You’ll Do

As Eligibility Coordinator at PHRI, you will:

  • Conduct intake data entry with consumers

  • Enter and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information

  • Verify Medicaid eligibility using Gainwell

  • Process referrals and manage intake tracking systems

  • Review and submit Consumer Choice Forms (CCFs)

  • Communicate and escalate eligibility or intake issues as needed

  • Performance Expectations

    • 95%+ accuracy in documentation
    • 100% Medicaid eligibility verified before services
    • Same-day intake data entry

What You’ll Bring

You bring both clinical expertise and systems-level thinking to the table. Specifically, you have:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Mental Health Core Service Agency (CSA) in Washington, DC

  • Experience with Medicaid, DBH processes, or intake preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills

Core Competencies

Success in this role is driven by the ability to:

  • Simplify complexity by breaking down clinical and operational challenges into clear priorities.

  • Systemize and optimize processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and care quality.

  • Think ahead—anticipating regulatory changes, utilization needs, and program growth.

  • Communicate with clarity and confidence across multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

  • Operate with accountability, integrity, and a deep respect for client-centered care.

Why PHRI?

At PHRI, you are not a cog in a system—you are a change agent.

  • Your work directly impacts access to care, treatment continuity, and client outcomes.

  • You join a mission-driven organization with a strong heart and a bold vision for growth.

  • You collaborate with passionate professionals who believe in doing meaningful work the right way.

  • You have the opportunity to grow alongside an organization that is scaling with purpose.

If you are looking for a role where your clinical license, operational insight, and passion for service come together—this is your moment.

Next step: Reflect on your experience, your values, and your desire to make a difference. If you see yourself in this story, we invite you to apply and help us continue building care that truly changes lives.
