A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room care, located in Carpinteria, CA. This role is perfect for an RN with a strong background in conscious sedation and surgical nursing, particularly with eye surgery experience. The position offers a day shift schedule, five days a week, with consistent hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, with a focus on operating room settings
- Proven expertise with conscious sedation procedures is mandatory
- Eye surgery experience is highly valued
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Familiarity with Epic charting system

Responsibilities Include:
- Preparing and assisting in the operating room during surgical procedures

- Documenting all relevant patient information using Epic charting accurately
Schedule:
- Five days per week, daytime shift
- 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
