Job Summary
As the Director of Dining Services, you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a corporate dining account, including both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) functions. You will lead and manage a team of associates, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure that the food and service provided meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
This role includes direct involvement in culinary oversight, working closely with the Sous Chef to ensure menu quality, food safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients, customers, guests, and internal departments
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef and culinary team to develop menus and ensure top-quality food offerings
- Provide hands-on support in culinary operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards
- Oversee all financial aspects of the account, including P&L management and budgeting
- Lead the rollout of new culinary programs and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain a high-performing dining operation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in foodservice operations, with a strong background in both FOH and BOH management
- High-volume production and catering experience is essential
- Proven experience managing budgets and financial performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for culinary excellence and a desire to grow within a top-tier foodservice organization
