The primary role of this position is to deliver high-quality patient care in alignment with the standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing tailored treatment plans, documenting care, and ensuring compliance with billing and coding requirements. The therapist will also serve as a professional representative of our team, maintaining a positive and patient-focused approach while actively promoting services to the community and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans based on physician directives, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
- Provide hands-on therapy within professional scope and APTA practice standards.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, coding, and discharge summaries.
- Supervise support staff in treatment delivery and ensure accurate charge reporting.
- Actively market rehabilitation services to physicians, referral partners, and the community.
- Adhere to safety and reporting protocols for medical errors or unexpected patient outcomes.
- Participate in mandatory training and professional development sessions.

- Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes.
- Ability to work effectively with patients of all ages and disabilities.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Proficiency in treatment techniques aligned with clinic programs.
- Willingness to work with pediatric patients.
Education & Credentials
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (APTA & CAPTE approved).
- Active state licensure as required by the governing board.
- Valid CPR certification.
- No history of sanctions from federal or private insurance payors, including workers’ compensation.
- Open to recent graduates.
