💲 $27–$28/hr | Full-Time
🕒 Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime Available)
Overview
A growing industrial operation is seeking a hands-on Shop Foreman or aspiring trainee to lead daily shop operations. This role combinesfabrication, and warehouse oversight, supporting the assembly of wire rope, rigging, and lifting products.
This is a strong fit for someone with shop leadership experience who can manage workflow, ensure quality, and keep operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily shop operations: workflow, scheduling, and task delegation
- Oversee fabrication of wire rope slings, chain slings, and rigging assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and capacity tables
- Manage inventory, shipping/receiving, and order accuracy
- Operate and oversee use of tools/equipment (cutting tools, swagers, testing machines)
- Ensure quality standards, safety compliance, and organized work environment
- Support and guide team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial shop environment
- Prior lead, supervisor, or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, measurements, and fabrication processes
- Experience with inventory control and shipping/receiving
- Rigging, wire rope, or lifting equipment experience highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and leadership mindset

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
