Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry environment as a registered nurse on the night shift. This contract opportunity offers flexible scheduling options with 2, 3, or 4 twelve-hour shifts per week, working 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. The role demands high clinical competency and adherence to rigorous standards, ensuring quality outcomes for patients.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- At least 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel assignment
- Current permanent Ohio nursing license or active compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Willingness to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification before starting
- One recent specialty-specific reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director (Charge RN references accepted)
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
