As a physical therapist contracted for the 2026-2027 academic year, you’ll provide vital on-site services that help young learners achieve their greatest potential. What you’ll bring:
- Current South Carolina Physical Therapy license (SC is a COMPACT License state)
- Prior experience as a PT in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
- Ability to plan and deliver individualized interventions
- Commitment to supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing in-person PT services to K-12 students during the school schedule
- Assessing, evaluating, and documenting students’ motor function and progress
- Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Educating teachers and families about strategies to support students’ mobility in academic settings
