Our Model 1 Early Childhood Special Education classrooms are vibrant, inclusive spaces where children ages 3–5 with diverse abilities explore, play, and thrive. You’ll lead a classroom with the support of two incredible paraprofessionals, turning every moment—storytime, snack time, and circle time—into a learning opportunity.

What You’ll Do
As an ECE SPED Teacher, every day is a chance to make a lifelong impact. You’ll:
- Create magical learning moments: Develop and teach individualized lessons for your little learners, meeting each child where they are.
- Champion growth & confidence: Use formal and informal assessments to guide instruction and celebrate every milestone.
- Build a joyful, structured environment: Encourage positive behaviors, model social skills, and keep the classroom safe and organized.
- Support the whole child: From reading to routine care (yes, sometimes that means helping with snacks or diapering), you’ll ensure every child feels safe and supported.
- Team up for success: Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create a community where every child can shine.

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (or related field) required; Master’s preferred for select roles
- Valid Colorado Teaching License (or CDE application receipt)
- Passion for early childhood & inclusive education—bonus if you have experience with diverse learners
- Commitment to equity: You believe every child deserves to be seen, heard, and celebrated
- Colorado-based (this is a local adventure!)
