We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Title Clearance Officer opportunity with a leading national settlement services company. This company is one of the largest independent full-service title insurance agencies in the country.
The Title Clearance Officer is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your Specific Duties Will Include:
- Reviewing and clearing purchase and refinance transactions for residential real estate.
- Examining abstracts, leases, contracts, and legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues.
- Working directly with title agencies, clients, and attorneys to clear title exceptions and prepare for closing.
- Preparing and/or reviewing Owner and Loan Policies for appropriate exceptions.
- Processing and verifying title bills and invoices.
- Managing high volumes of residential real estate transaction files nationwide.
Specific Qualifications for the Position Include:
- 5+ years of Title Curative/Title Clearance experience.
- Experience handling residential real estate title files
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with Surveys, Survey Readings, Real Estate Taxes, Recordings and Escrows.
Preferred qualifications for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with SoftPro Select.
Pay Rate Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, as well as a 401(k) plan.
