Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, maintaining production schedules, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, lead, and train production line staff in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet demand and efficiency goals.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMPs, and company SOPs.
• Inspect equipment and work areas to ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete shift reports.
• Promote a culture of safety and enforce workplace safety rules.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Assist in performance reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of experience in a food production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and manufacturing practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be available to work day shifts and provide occasional weekend support as needed.
• Proficient with MS Office and production management systems (e.g., ERP, MES).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in hot/cold environments.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Use of PPE required.
