Job DescriptionAbout the Role:HUNT Mechanical is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Operations Manager to join our growing team in Huntington Beach, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a HVAC company specializing in Luxury Custom Homes
Responsibilities:
- Support the Management Team in coordinating day-to-day operations of management and field staff
- Coordinate scheduling, dispatching, and workflow management for field technicians and crews
- Monitor job progress, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Assist in managing vendor relationships, procurement, and purchase orders
- Help enforce safety protocols, compliance standards, and company policies
- Prepare operational reports, track KPIs, and identify areas for process improvement
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or a related trade industry
- ServiceTitan experience a huge plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in scheduling software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, work orders, or service documentation is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Self-motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative, field-service environment
