We are actively seeking a Senior Technology Subject Matter Expert to support our clients at the DOC.
Work Description:
The Senior Technology SME will support a Department of Commerce client, providing data programming, cloud infrastructure, security compliance, and technology modernization/transition expertise. AI experience in a multi-cloud environment would be highly applicable. U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Technology SME will support tasks such as:
- Provide technical consultation, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and technical project teams regarding cloud environments, data strategy, and cybersecurity compliance.
- Develop, build, and document technical solutions to complex organizational, management, and business challenges.
- Conduct research and prepare complex data mapping and products, business documents, briefings, and strategic plans.
- Lead organizational assessments and align structures, processes, and performance measurement tools to agency goals.
- Deliver technology transition training, education, and exercise management to support workforce development.
- Define and advise on program performance, evaluation metrics, and continuous improvement strategies.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor for high-visibility initiatives impacting mission- critical programs involving workflow modernization.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or Doctorate in a relevant field.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of specialized technical management experience in cloud environments and workflow modernization.
- Proven expertise in direct hands-on technical implementation, strategic planning, organizational design, and executive-level consulting.
