Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role involves providing expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, ensuring their safety, comfort, and recovery through comprehensive assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing ventilators and other life-support equipment.
- Perform detailed patient assessments, interpret diagnostic data such as laboratory results and imaging reports, and develop individualized care plans aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment strategies and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures such as IV insertions, catheterizations, and wound care.
Required Qualifications:
- Min 2 years of RN PICU experience required
- CVICU experience required
- BLS, PALS required
