- High school diploma or equivalent required (Associates degree or higher preferred).
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Para Certification needs to be obtained
Job Details:
- Full time hours: 35 hours
- School Setting experience preferred
- Start Date: ASAP
- Providing 1:1 support. More caseload details disclosed on interview
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Provide individualized support to students based on their specific needs and learning goals.
- Monitor and document students' progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers as needed.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-instructional times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide classroom support for students in small groups or one-on-one sessions.
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
