Job Description
A local company in the Zanesville area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant / Payroll professional. This position is responsible for processing payroll, maintaining financial records, and supporting daily accounting functions. This is not a full-time position and may involve a 34 day work week.
Responsibilities
Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time
Maintain financial records and reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Assist with audits, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must have QuickBooks experience
Previous accounting and/or payroll experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Basic knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office
Reliable, professional, and trustworthy
