Overview
Join our team as a Bookkeeper and become a critical part of ensuring the success of Convergent Solutions. In this role, you will handle essential accounting functions and maintain financial records. Your expertise will help streamline processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to work independently, apply your bookkeeping and accounting skills in an established technology company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Recording daily transactions for sales, purchasing, and expenses
2. Reconcile bank, credit card, vendor, and general ledger accounts
3. A/P invoice processing and cash requirements reporting
4. A/R invoicing and customer collections
5. Payroll administration including calculation and payment of wages, withholdings, and vacation accrual
6. Financial reporting including monthly and annual financial report preparation for CPA
7. Compliance reports for state related annual filings
8. Maintain customer information in CRM including contacts, customer inventory, and reoccurring contracts
9. Utilize accounting software to provide relevant monthly reports
10. Communicate properly and on a timely basis with external customers as well as with fellow employees.
11. Collaborate with fellow employees to resolve daily bookkeeping tasks
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
1. Answer phones as needed to maintain customer coverage during business hours.
2. Receive shipments as needed for carrier deliveries
3. Recommend process and workflow adjustments if needed
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
· 2+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
· Proficient in accounting software including Sage Cloud
· Detail Oriented and can work independently
· Understanding of all accounting basic principles
· Strong communications skills
