E-Commerce Marketing Manager
Location: Middlefield Ohio, on-site / hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days work from home)

Hardwood Lumber Company is seeking a versatile, results-driven E-Commerce Marketing Manager to lead our growing online business and marketing initiatives. This role blends e-commerce strategy, marketing leadership, and operational oversight—perfect for someone who can balance big-picture vision with day-to-day execution.

What You’ll Do
E-Commerce Management

Develop and execute strategies to grow online sales, improve conversion rates, and increase customer lifetime value.

Oversee our e-commerce platform (BigCommerce) to ensure a smooth, optimized shopping experience.

Use analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Manage product listings, pricing, promotions, and shipping rules.
Marketing & Content Strategy

Partner with internal teams and agencies to align SEO, paid media, email, influencer, and affiliate programs with revenue goals.

Maintain and execute a content calendar for product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.

Ensure all marketing content meets brand, SEO, and compliance standards.
Influencer Marketing

Negotiate deliverables, timelines, and compensation with influencers.

Coordinate product seeding and shipments for collaborations.

Review and approve content to ensure brand alignment and FTC compliance.
Agency & Vendor Relationships

Serve as the main point of contact for marketing agency partners and other vendors.

Translate business objectives into actionable briefs and review deliverables for quality and accuracy.

Track budgets and campaign performance, reporting results to leadership.
Cross-Functional Operations

Liaise between sales, production, marketing, and leadership to ensure alignment on priorities

Troubleshoot operational issues, including shipping logistics and cost management.

Coordinate custom orders and ensure exceptional customer service.
What We’re Looking For

5+ years in e-commerce, digital marketing, or operations (experience in manufacturing or home improvement products a plus).

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce preferred) and marketing analytics tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving business where you wear many hats.

Must be local to Middlefield, Ohio, as in-office days are required.

Bonus: Knowledge of woodworking/manufacturing processes.
