🩺 Med Surg/Telemetry RN – Neptune, NJ & Bricktown, NJ
Pay: $46–$53/hr
Schedule: 3x12s | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call
📍 Neptune, NJ – Night Shift
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s)
Assignment: 13 Weeks
Every Other Weekend Required | 3 of 6 Holidays Required | Float to Like Units
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The RN plans, implements, and documents care based on individual patient needs and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and perform therapeutic interventions per physician orders.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Promote evidence-based practices and patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Active NJ RN License or Compact License
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- BLS (AHA), Telemetry, NIHSS, and Stroke CEU (4 hours) required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience in an acute care hospital
- Strong ability to manage patient load and prioritize care in a high-acuity setting
📍 Bricktown, NJ – Day Shift
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12s)
Assignment: 13 Weeks
Every Other Weekend & Holidays Required | First to Float | 5–6:1 Patient Ratio

- BLS (AHA), Telemetry, and ACLS required
- 2–4+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience in a major acute care facility
- Experience with non-titratable cardiac drips and cardiac medications
