A full-time position is available for a Paraprofessional to support an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) classroom in Pine, CO. This role plays a crucial part in fostering an inclusive learning environment by providing dedicated support to students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies
- Monitor and support student progress and engagement throughout the day
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive, structured learning atmosphere
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional, preferably in special education or ASD settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff
- Ability to follow classroom routines while adapting to individual student needs
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students’ educational and social development
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Thursday
- Position located in Pine, Colorado
