Here is What Your day May Consist of:

  • Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
  • Administer drugs (IV, SQ, Oral)
  • Perform radiographs
  • Assisting doctors with patient care, including obtaining blood and laboratory samples, patient restraint, and client education and communication
  • Provide care to hospitalized patients and discharging patients after care is complete
  • Conducting dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
  • Surgical preparation, monitoring, assisting and recovering patients
  • Collaborating in a team environment


Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinary technician
  • LVT preferred but not required
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience assisting in surgical procedures
  • Urgent care experience is a plus
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
  • Availability to work one weekend day (eligible for a $2/hour shift differential)
  • Scheduled shifts:
    • Monday & Friday: 7:30 AM – 8:30 PM (with a $2/hour differential after 8 PM)
    • Tuesday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM
    • Shift flexibility is available
